Goodbye, Farewell

Time spent with you has been oh so sweet... the smells that warm the house and the colors that surround me. The nice chill that flushes my cheeks as I step outside to be welcomed by your presence. Oh how I have taken you for granted before and not gave you proper admiration that you oh so much deserve. Truly you are beautiful and will be missed. I hate that you are going, I hate to say goodbye, but I'm very confident the days will fly by my doorstep as they always do and then at once we will soon meet again. I must say Autumn, you truly are my favorite. Farewell!

Take The TIme to See The Art Of Holding

Sometimes life is so busy that it just catches you up in the moment along wtih stress and that never ending to-do list. And of course there are always down moments in life where you take a rainy day and sleep in and lay around all day in your p.j.s watching movies or scraping or whatever. Most of the time, TIME is always the main factor and no matter how much you rush or how early you are, time is still going to get in the way causing those "bairly there" moments to pass you by where one day you find yourself wondering where those "not so specific" moments went to and why you don't take time to notice them anymore. (kind of like when you ask your husband, "where does all our money go", and he just smiles and point, oh..hee hee)

Yesterday my sister whom is a wonderful picture-taker by the way; brought me some pictures she took of Will and I, they were so great, I love her work, as I was thumbing through all of them... in there, was one of Will and I from our backs holding hands. I had no clue she even took it, she said, "Oh I just took that real quick as you guys were walking away!" As shamefully as I am, I hate to say it, I do not at all remember walking away holding hands. As I looked at the picture and the creativeness of it I thought to my self, "holding hands truly is an art." Not original no way, a peace of ancient history that two souls have shared, well...forever now. No matter it be your crush, boyfriend, husband, your child or friend, holding hands is and always will be such a lovely gesture to show ones affection toward the other, a comfort piece, a molded bond from two to one. As I type I must say I by no means want to blow out of perfortion of holding hands just to simply recognize how simply blissful it is. The art of holding hands should and from now on will be in my life more recognized and I pray even in my old age that my love and I can always share that one simplistic gesture of closeness with each other.

Newest Hobby, Inspired by "Sock and Glove"

Me and one of my closest, dearest friends Sis. Naylor (my pastors wife) have been endeavoring to make and sale our "prayer bears" with a cloth inside specially anointed hand sewn and stuffed just for you. (There's Power in Prayer, Amen') This cute snugly bear you see here is five dollars and is the newest design and hosted by Christ Tabernacle. Please comment and let me know what you think!

Three Potato Four

These lovelies are great and easy to make. Simply choose a choice color of card stock or a tag as you see in the picture. Choose a stencil like 1, 2, 3... A, B, C...or Huge, large, big, little small tiny, etc. (great for children) Next, stencil or draw your desired pattern, stitch printing paper or lined paper on inside of your tag and you can use yarn or organics plus yarn string (found at any Hobby Lobby) tie and loop and wallah!!! You can use for note taking, sketching or my all time favorite, just Doodle. For more inspiration check out Three Potato Four!

Welcome to Talk Chicken Soup

Welcome to my Blog where I hope you feel as much warmth as a Hot bowl of chicken soup brings you on a cold day where you've had the sniffles and can't seem to snap out of the laziness. Oh, well maybe I'm the only one who has those days, anyways eventually someone comes along and rescues you out of your own self pity and is so kind enough to welcome you with the one and only warm flowered printed bowl of hot soup.

My name is Jessica! This blog has been created for all creative outlets, I love a good creative brain storm and on days where I have nothing to do you can find me in a little room in my little house sewing, scrapbooking, flipping through magazines full of color and ideas. I hope to inspire whoever takes interest in the things that just so happen to inspire me and that may God shine through each and every word that gets published.

Please be patient with me as I am new to blog land and still trying to scope out all the nifty little things that come along with starting my own place to reveal the beauty of blogging.

xoxo
