What to do, what to do?

Lately I have had the worst time trying to pick out a theme for my house. I love everything and anything creative and fun from bright and spunky to calming mellow to just plain Amish. I live in the middle of no where with lots of wonderful acreage on both sides of us (I want a farm so bad with cows and chickens and a big garden and all....) well my house doesn't have to look country bumpkin, I can not settle on a theme I really need help. I do have a couple things to keep in mind before helping me... To Me:Less is more. Bright colors open up a room. Dark colors make me wanna cuddle up and go to sleep. my house is small. You see my kitchen from the front door. I want my house to look sophisticated, simple but appealing and snazzy to the eye. I think dark is comfy, but dark.my love thinks dark is Dark.
A few colors I have thought about using is:

Chocolate turtle for my kitchen with white cabinets or all white kitchen would be pretty, I have a dark cherry amish table. My bedroom bright blue, but all white? Theres a new green color out I love to?My office Bright green?

As you can see I am so ...everywhere! I have painted my bedroom twice in 1 1/2 years, my bathroom three times...bedroom once and getting ready to change it. My Love is in the way alot though, he is always changing my mind on things I'll be so sure on a color and he confuses me, oh brother! Here are my inspiration peaces... Let me know what colors you like the best!!!
See the great green I was telling you about, huh what do ya think? Here's a plan my Love says is "unrealistic we only have 10ft ceilings in the spair bedroom. "oh no biggy we'll (meaning him) just tear the ceiling out duhh & make it cathedral like the living room and when the roof caves in we can worry about it then..."

Only this bedroom appeals to me!

I have alot more Specially from BHG.com but couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to upload all the photos I wanted but you get the idea. I have alot of different styles I love so you tell me your favorite!!!

Be Safe!

CAUTION! Over eating of the pie may cause bloating to the belly &/or other serious injuries. Please while over indulging do not wear buttons or belts due to belly bloating these items such as others could be stretched or have been known to pop off (If you forget and wear one or the other buttons may be loosed and belts could be applied above or below the belly as a belly harness.) Please do not fill up on the finger foods and then make your self sick on the turkey and potatoes. Potatoes are known to be full of starch, so always add butter, milk, and season for extra flavor... Back-Tacking

Lately I have had so many inspiring posts causing me to race into the kitchen and whip something warm up... This past week has been full of food and cooking and even relaxation... I made my first homemade bread...I got my instructions from Tales of a Crafty Momma, I added a half cup of chopped Almonds to give more of a wheat feel and call it Almond wheat bread. I know I'm brilliant! In addition to my bread making day we had a friend spending the weekend with us for the holidays... Justin he is so sweet to us and has really added a spunky spirit into my quiet as a mouse home. My Love and I are not at all used to having a kid in the house, but I really do love it & he sticks to My Love like glue. We met Justin on outreach one Saturday about 2 months ago and he or his mom and siblings have not missed a day of church since. Also His mom, sister and himself have been baptized and made a complete turn around. I really am so excited and thoroughly enjoy my time spent every Saturday knocking doors. At first I must admit okay this is lame people are totally going to yell at me and tell me to go away but since this last Easter, we have 74 + different kids in addition to the house of the Lord every Sunday morning where they get to get away from that crazy world and the wrecked home or the arguing parent or whatever it is there living in and feel Gods shelter. Saturdays have truly changed my life. This week I have to say over 74 kids bused in every Sunday morning and over 79 Baptisms; Watching Will get up every morning and put those big orange cones out and backing the van out into the road, hearing lots of little feet truck into the church doors every morning and calling Will there "Bus Driver," Family time is great and I absolutely love it, but as I scan my memory box and ponder on what I am truly thankful for this year it's every smile on those kids face, every repented heart, every tear, every late night and tiresome Saturday, every early Sunday....Every changed life and most of all, every humbling opportunity to be used by the Lord. So there's to Justin praying God keeps him all the days of his life!

Commitment

My Husband once preached a message called Commitment, I know someone left changed that night. It was that message that inclined my ideas to this testimony. I hope it is encouraging to know that God is still working it all out!

An innocent child exposed to the reality of this world & from then she went a hundred different directions, chasing that one high that would never keep her satisfied. Her heart was soft with good intentions she meant no harm to anyone, but her mothers heart was being broken with worry and discontent; hoping God would protect her from that same path she once chose. She later spent the night in a jail-cell for DUI and Possession, which she barley remembered. In an attempt to escape addiction, friends & life as she knew it, she plotted her next adventures to California where a new life was awaiting, but as she was at work she would ponder her decision, the two in the back was listening and waiting for that prime opportunity to tell her they believed in her. Did, oh yes they did! One told her in the late hours of the sonic parking lot and the other told her through his presents that could be felt just enough to know. He was quiet and subtle, oh and so patient with her as well. The other one not so, using every prime opportunity to spend time and make moments with her that would last. The subtle one told the persistent one to ask her. (Ask her where?) To ask her out of coures! He did ask her and she went...Running around the house trying everything on, nothing fit right or matched the way she desired, finally she settled for her mothers over-size brown turtleneck sweater and the only decent brown flow skirt she owned. Her hair was slung back into a messy dew, she didn't have her normal Justin Boots on, but an unfamiliar high heel.

Once again she found herself in the unknown. Where was that subtle one in the back at her work place? She could not see or hear him, but yet she knew he was close by. Days flew by quickly into Autumn...One morning she rose up from the water that purges. A cleansing unseen to the natural human eye, but understood through a revelation of the spiritual. That night she picked her knee up from an alter of repentance, where she poured her heart out once again at the foot of the master. She went to sleep that night baptized of the water and of the spirit. She never knew the high she searched for would be found between the fine pages of a thick black book.

She married the persistent one. She gave her life on earth of commitment and love to him, his persistence paid off. He hasn't seen that same mad & crazy wild child since she came back from the alter that night, but rather comes home to needles & thread & the constant humming of the sewing machine. I'm sure he is satisfied now. He won his fight against time and the dangerous battle of the love of ones heart. He supports & spoils her as much as he can. She is his most precious jewel and he is her most prized possession. She always wants to be kept in the arms of security. She married Mr. Persistent, but the arms of protection are the subtle ones wrapped around her daily. Mr. Persistent leaves for work in the dark of the morning and comes home in the dark of the late evening. The subtle one is always there. He keeps her company and never leaves her side. She longs to please him and do as he asks of her. She still can not see him, but knows one day she will... Coming out of the clouds of glory with the sound of a trumpet coming for her in the blink of an eye! Not so subtle, not even subtle at all. She knows that day will be here soon, so she is like the clay of the potters, constantly being shaped, molded, and corrected. "Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain; But a women that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." Proverbs 31:30

Jessica Jean -- 21 Years of age did take an adventure to SanFransisco California, but with Mr. Persistant. (It was more of a vacation) She kept her residence in Ketucky. She is still married to her Love for a year and 7 short months. She searches no more for a high, but rather the "depths" of the holy high given only through her father from above. Truly serving the Lord, Jesus Christ (the subtle one) since November 17, 2006. Saved by grace she is still pressing forward to win the fight agianst her own flesh and her enemys that try to wedge war agianst her. For the true day of her salvation is at hand, the day of judgement awiats her and a report that say's, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

A Virtuous Woman

Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, So that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and fl aux, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night and giveth meal to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor: yea she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. she maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles to the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a women that feareth the Lord, She shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Proverbs 31 Beautiful Poetry by the Words of King Lemuel; lessons taught from the prophecy of his mother...Just a little inspiration on this lovely Thursday!
